Fall Frenzy Fundraising
Many Non-Profit Organizations are getting geared up to what I call the Fall Frenzy Fundraising. This is when all of these organizations are trying to bring in as much Funding and Donations they can before the weather starts to get cold, and that will help offset the ‘summer donation dip’ loss that happened in your budget.
The schools have their back to school fundraising, the fire departments have their last ‘pig roasts’, the parks have their last music festivals, and it seems like they all have some kind of Halloween festival of some sort. While these fundraising events are all fun to go to, and I highly recommend supporting whichever ones you can – it is almost impossible to attend them all since they all cost money, and because a lot of them are on the same days.
The thing that is most upsetting is that whether or not they realize it, they are ALL competing for the same Community members money – or rather Donations. And since times are still financially tough, the donations of these events are becoming leaner and leaner.
There was once a day when there was just a handful of Events to choose from to attend, but now – it seems as though every Nonprofit Organization is having some type of event or another. And of course they are – they need money to stay open to support their Community.
Just about every Non-Profit Organization is there to help someone through their 911 situation in their life. Red Cross is there to help those who need blood, Fire Departments – well they just seem to be there to help everyone in any situation, Rescue Squads are there during life threatening situations, the YMCA is there to provided needed family support and activities – the list can go on and on. But the bottom line is that at some point – everyone needs help – and the Non-Profit Organizations that are in your Community are there to help you through it. Period.
And they need money. Period.
The odd twist of it all is that the Businesses that are in your Community need the Community to support them by shopping there. And whether the Community realizes it or not, they (Your Community) need these Businesses. After all, the Businesses are the ones who pay the highest in Taxes. The Taxes help keep the Community running smoothly. And wouldn’t you rather shop at a Business who Supports (or rather who is a Sponsortizer as we like to call them) a well needed Non-Profit Organization then one who didn’t?
It is beautiful how interconnected a Community is. We call it ‘The Trifecta of Giving’.
We at 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. Systems realized this, and it is this inter-connective-ness that is the heart of C.A.S.P.E.R. It helps bring the beauty out in a Community so that the Community can help these Non-Profit Organizations be there during their 911 situation in their life.
And the best thing? There aren’t any ‘Summer Dips’. You can know exactly what you will get every month with C.A.S.P.E.R. – month after month, year after year.
