When Disasters Strike ~ Count on C.A.S.P.E.R.

Disaster-Alerts-Warnings-FEMS-IPAWS-Casper-911ThinkSignsBy Judie Protesto Freels

How easily can you notify your Community?

When you listened to the FEMA’s IPAWS video, the first words it says is:  When Disasters Strike.  Not IF Disasters Strike, or Maybe Disasters Strike, or Possibly Disasters Strike – but WHEN Disasters Strike!

If you have never watched their video, I encourage you to stop right now and GO ON OVER HERE to see it for yourself – it’s just 5 minutes long and it will awestruck you as to the need of this wonderful Alert and Warning System that FEMA’s IPAWS has put together.

I don’t know about you, but I think that FEMA’s IPAWS has a pretty good grasp about what is going on in the United States – and World.  So I am of the resolve to believe what they say.  And I take the fact that they say:  WHEN Disasters Strike, very seriously.

So my question is, why would you want to wait until AFTER a Disaster hits to arm it with Tools that your Community Members can use to help direct them BEFORE – DURING – and AFTER a Disaster hits?

I know that our 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. Systems have an amazing fundraising system tool through Sponsortizing.  And that is important so that Non-Profit Organizations, such as Fire and Rescue departments can have the financial means to operate properly, but the reason these Organizations are needed is to help during DISASTERS!  So why not have a Tool that does more than one thing?  A Tool that has Multi-Uses.

Our 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. system is a Certified Vendor with FEMA’s IPAWS and is authorized to accept Alerts and Messages through our C.A.S.P.E.R. System.  And since you went and watched the FEMA’s IPAWS video I mentioned above – you did right?? –  you know that these Alerts and Warnings are geographically relevant and targeted to your Community.

What does that mean to you?  Your 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. Systems’ LED Display System will not get Alerts and Warnings that are not important to your Community.  So since you have your 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. Systems in Pennsylvania, you will not get Alerts and or Warnings for Oregon.  You will just get information specific to your regional area.  Watch the FEMA’s IPAWS Video if you still do not understand this – it is HUGE Tool for your Community to have available to it so that they can stay safe.

But don’t get me wrong – 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. Systems are not just for Fire and Rescue – ANY Non-Profit Organization can benefit with C.A.S.P.E.R.’s fundraising Tool, such as schools, parks, Libraries, etc…;  and due to that, your Community benefits as well.

And let’s not forget about the added feature our 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. System has called the 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. Systems Alert button.  With the C.A.S.P.E.R. Alert button, you can even override FEMA’s IPAWS typical alerts and provide even more relevant help to your Community.

To better understand C.A.S.P.E.R. we strongly encourage you to take the couple of minutes to go through one of our Webinars.  We offer Webinars since, although our ‘How It Works’ page helps you get an understanding of C.A.S.P.E.R., so go right now and request a Webinar from us so we can go over everything in a more visual way.  Or just give us a quick call and set one up.
