It seems to be the Buzz-Word of the week!
All I have been hearing for the last couple of days is how cold it is (especially from my wife ~ she hates the cold!). In our area, it is the coldest it has been in 40 years – with even set a new record in our County, but I believe this cold front has been doing that in a lot of places throughout the United States.
If you receive FEMA’s IPAWS Alerts and Warnings, you may have received the Wind Chill notifications that had gone out for your area. I personally think it is extremely important to be notified of impending nasty weather so I can better take precautions and protect my family. So I am quite grateful when I receive these Alerts and Warnings – but from what I understand, not many people have opted in or have the technology to be advised by FEMA’s IPAWS to know what is coming – until of course it is too late to better prepare yourself and loved ones.
So, where does C.A.S.P.E.R. (Community Awareness and Stimulus Plan for Emergency Readiness) come in? Well, when you have a 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. Systems LED Display System in your Community, than any passerby can be informed right from FEMA’s IPAWS itself. Our software enables their Alerts and Warnings to go directly to the geographically specific LED Display that the Alert or Warning effects. Of course these Alerts and Warnings can be on anything that may come into your Community that is important; Snow accumulation, tornado, hurricane, sever rain, high heat, SMOG and a countless other Alerts and Warnings that will benefit your Community.
But our 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. Systems doesn’t stop there. Any one of your Authorized Alerting Person, who is usually your 911 Dispatchers or Sheriff Departments ( it is up to you who you may want to allow) can put out any critical information you feel will assist your Community Before, During and After any emergency situation using our 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. Systems Alert feature. So even if something that your organization or Authorized Alerting Person feels that your Community should know – and is not being sent out by IPAWS or even if it is not sanctioned by IPAWS – you can send it out instantaneously with just a quick type and click. It is just that simple.
And since we are on the subject of weather, I also want to mention that our 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. Systems LED Display System has the capability to display the weather whenever, and pretty much, however you want, and the current temperature can be easily displayed as well.
So why leave your Community vulnerable? Take the time to find out more about our 911 C.A.S.P.E.R. Systems.
